Adult Life
I am sick of gossiping. Stop it people. Cut each other some slack. We are imperfect and make mistakes, stop taking everything so personally. Either be friends with each other or don't. I need to take a stand and stop getting wrapped up into it. I want so badly to lead a life that makes me proud of everything I do.
Long Ass Time
I'm almost 21. That's kind of cool I guess. A lot has happened in the past 9 months. Nothing that needs to be rehashed or anything. Some basics are that I had a fantastic summer, a horribly hard fall semester, and a really relaxing wonderful winter break. I honestly haven't written on my blog in a really long time because there was nothing going on in my life that was worth talking about. There was some highs and lows but all in the past now.
Junior year is definitely the first year that I'm starting to feel like an adult (not all the time) and really thinking about what I want to do with my life. I have thrown around ideas of going into Art Conservation, Forestry, and Culinary. They all seem to speak to certain values of mine that spark my interests. Not sure what I plan to do and being a Garbage Truck driver is still a huge possibility too. Sometimes all I want to do is crack open a beer and sit in my comfy chair and read a book and tune out all the worries. Sounds like a good idea, no?
Friends have been awesome especially Jamie. Talk about my other half and my partner in crime. I love that girl so much. No one has been more of kind soul and tough lover than her. She picks me up when I'm down, dusts me off, and gives me a slight shove in the right direction. So glad that she is my roommate and best friend. We are also extremely weird together. It's cool, you don't have to be jealous.
Nothing really new to report other than I met this really rad guy. He's kinda shy and a little weird (in an awesome way!), but no one gets me better than him. We share so many interests together and it's kinda cool to be able to talk to him about anything and everything. I'm pretty much super weird so the fact he thinks I'm cool is pretty incredible and almost impossible to imagine why. He might be the main reason that sparked me to write on my blog again, so I gotta give some credit to the guy.

Oh Shit, I Forgot I had a Blog
I don't know how often people read my blog, but here is an update anyways.
School is pretty boring and really hard thanks to Organic Chemistry (no news there).I went to Disneyland with my parents and my cousins Jackie and Josh, her husband and two daughters. It was amazing and so much fun!
I've been fighting some sickness lately starting with getting food poisoning the Monday of spring break. I seriously threw everything up and couldn't move. Great way to start break. At the end of break I got a cold, and in the last five days I've been battling some viral infection. Lameeeeeeee.
I got some pretty awesome news Monday night that I was moved up from the B-team to the A-team on my college ultimate Frisbee club team. I literally jumped for joy and preceded to call my parents and wake them up at 11 o'clock at night. I went to my first Scorch Conditioning practice last night, while still being some what sick, and got my butt kicked in a good way. I am so happy to be a part of the team and the girls are all so amazing to hang out with and play with. Can't wait to play sectionals and regionals and end this season with a bang.
Austin and I celebrated our two year anniversary in style. He was really amazing and took me out to a nice dinner, got me a wonderful card and pictures, and gave me two beautiful long stem red roses (one for each year we have been dating) and we celebrated with a pizzookie. It was really awesome.
That is pretty much it!

Vegas and Beyond
So this past weekend I was in Vegas for a frisbee tournament called Trouble in Vegas. The seven hour car ride there was actually pretty enjoyable, mostly because the girls I drove with are awesome and I got to drive for a bit. The first night I slept on the floor in order to get a bed the next night because I knew I would be sore from playing all day. I scored the first goal in the first game and went on to score two more on Sunday. I had some pretty awesome deep cuts and some sweet D's.
I watched some senior teams and they were incredible, very drunk, but incredible. They made the game look so fluid and easy, like it was second nature to them. I totally want to get good like that one day. My team is the B team for the UofA women's club team. I plan on doing summer league with my dad and possibly brother and then coming back in the fall and my goal is to get on the A team.
I am pretty much a sponge at this point. Whenever the captains or coaches give me tips I soak it all up. My back hand and forehand are really coming together and I am learning how to throw out-in and in-out on both throws so hopefully I can do some more handling at Sectionals in April.
This week was pretty hellish, but I am glad I get to fly to Cali tonight and spring break is next week. Austin was pretty awesome and planned a two day stay in Sedona during next week to celebrate us dating for 2 years. Damn, that guy is awesome; pretty stoked he planned it all and it all came together nicely. Can't believe we have been dating for two years, it's been awesome and wonderful and tough at times but through it all he has stood by me and been my rock.
Till the next update.
PS: I broke my phone and I am actually kind of in love with not checking it or texting people. It's sort of freeing

Things Going on in My Life
So I am going to work my way backwards describing the week I just had. I just finished my best lab report I have ever written for organic chemistry. I would seriously frame it, that's how proud I am. I got my ear checked out because it ballooned to twice the size it normally is and was red hot and super itchy. Totally lame and totally unattractive. I learned several possible ways to wear my hair with hats, bandannas, etc so no one had to look at my grotesque ear. Seriously folks it is bad!
My ear got infected for a couple of reasons. Apparently my run of zero accidents or incidents occurring in ochem lab has never lasted longer than one week. I was working with four harmful very irritant chemicals that were as follows, DMF (N,N-dimethylformamide), chloroform, cobalt (II) acetate, and benzaldehyde. Yes folks I am a royal idiot, a complete klutz, and a buffoon. Even though I was wearing all the safety precautions known to man (i.e. gloves, lab coat, clothing that covered my skin, and goggles) I managed to forget I was working with irritating chemicals and I touched my right ear several times to adjust my goggles through out the lab.
Yes. I got chemicals on pretty much the only exposed skin I had. My ear is pissed the fuck off at me. I had to remove my newly pierced Rook (RIP favorite piercing ever) because my ear got so big and so angry that it decided to hate my earring too.
Wait folks, me being an idiot does not stop here. I touched my ear loads of times to scratch it, then changed my belly button piercing. Yup. My belly button is infected now too. Remember? I am a huge buffoon???
Anyways, I have been to urgent care and my dermatologist, I am on a fuck load of antibiotics and have to rub cream in hopes of not having to *gasp* undergo a painful procedure of draining my ear.
I have learned my lesson. Do not touch harmful chemicals and then touch my ear. Clearly this will be embedded with me forever because it has been such a painful, miserable, sleep deprived week which I am so glad is over. (I base my weeks off of labs obviously, I know that Wednesday is not the beginning of the week).
Lastly, the best part of my week is owed to my mother. She walked me through every step of the way, and when I called her crying in pain at six o'clock in the morning, she got up straight away and drove the hour and forty-five minutes from Phoenix down to Tucson. I can honestly say, no matter what age I am, having my mom hug me and take care of me in my time of need was the greatest feeling in the world. That woman makes me so incredibly honored that I am her daughter. I hope to be a mother just like her. She is amazing and really special. And mother, I know you are reading this because you always do, I love you so much from the bottom of my heart and words cannot express how happy I was that you came to my rescue.

Just Stuff About Myself
I want to go sky diving someday. I love living in Tucson because there are cute bunnies everywhere. Lobsters creep me out. I don't like bugs unless they are rollie pollie bugs. I am a damn good chef. I think people are genuinely good. I am very social and love getting to know new people. I love to dance, whether it be at a party or in my room alone. I like to paint my nails a new color every week because I like to be a colorful person. I don't really like baseball it is too boring to watch. I love watching ultimate frisbee, though it wasn't until recently I discovered how much I love to play it. I like to build legos and solve puzzles. I love to read for fun but only books that interest me. I love both Star Wars and Star Trek. Lord of the Rings is a great book and movie series, one of my favorites. I am a Harry Potter fan for life. I choose adventure every time. I've lived in Arizona my entire life and not once have I been to the Grand Canyon. Spain is my favorite country to visit. I am not cynical, nor do I have ulterior motives; I act out of curiosity. I love art and wish I was an art history major sometimes. I have seven piercings and no tattoos. If I were to ever get a tattoo it would be of the Eye of Horus because my grandfather's name was Horace and one of the last places he visited before he died was Egypt and we used to joke that the Eye of Horus was Grandpa's eye. He was one of the kindest, most amazing people I have ever had the chance to know. I want kids and dogs and cats and a big house with a pool. The human body fascinates me and I have never been shy of blood or serious injuries. My brother is my best friend, but annoys me a lot sometimes. I love roller coasters a lot, but water slides kind of freak me out. I learned to swim before I could run. Polar bears are the best animals ever hands down. I care for people more than I care for myself sometimes. I cannot stand to see anyone sad or upset. The majority of the pictures in my photo album on my phone are of my dogs and it will always be like that. I like playing board games and Beetle Adventure Racing on the N64. I used to be really good at guitar hero. I used to play the violin, the piano, and the oboe. Outer space fascinates me and I dream of one day exploring it. I am pretty much a nerd at heart. I'm short but I run really fast and I read people very easily. I wonder what it would be like if I was a cowboy on my own ranch. I like corn on the cob the best. I am unpredictable, wild, sensitive, bossy, caring, compassionate and passionate, and confident. I am not afraid to learn new things and to accept when I am wrong.
